Wake up, Bachelor Nation: It's time to smell the roses.
Nearly two years after Grant Ellis left "The Bachelor" engaged, another bachelor will embark on a new quest for love on the ABC dating and relationship reality television series. The next season will premiere March 21, 2027, at 8 p.m. ET, USA TODAY can confirm.
Though Ellis' journey may have ended with his engagement to Juliana Pasquarosa, the couple split less than three months after the finale aired. Aside from confirming the premiere date, the network offered no further details about the upcoming season.
It is not immediately clear who the next bachelor will be. Variety reports that Season 30 will be the franchise's first entry since the summer 2025 premiere of "Bachelor in Paradise."
News of the show's return comes after Taylor Frankie Paul's "Bachelorette" season was canceled just days before its March premiere due to allegations of domestic violence between the "Secret Lives of Mormon Wives" star and her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen.

A Disney Entertainment Television spokesperson told USA TODAY in March that the decision to pull the season resulted from leaked footage TMZ published in 2023. The clip appeared to show an alleged physical altercation between Paul and Mortensen while Paul's daughter was present.
Several Bachelor Nation stars, including former "Bachelorette" Rachel Lindsay, questioned the franchise's future after Paul's season was canceled.
"I was trying to think of a scenario where it could be different, because this isn’t just, 'Oh, we put it all on a person. This person did this.' This is the system that allowed this to happen," Lindsay said on the "Bachelor Party" podcast, per Variety Australia. "The name Bachelorette, Bachelor is tainted at this point. How do you move forward past that? You can’t."
Former Bachelor Nation contestants Ashley Iaconetti and Trista Sutter, however, felt more optimistic.
"It’s what brought me my family, or at least introduced me to Ryan [Sutter], so we could create a family," Trisha told People. "So if it’s all over, it will make me sad. [I’m] hoping that that’s not the case."
