Sharing a throwback photo from one of her wardrobe tests on the movie, Ann-Margret traveled back in time to her "State Fair days," while writing in her caption, "Sometimes the simplest moments made the best memories."

The photo, which was dated Sept. 1, 1961, featured a 20-year-old Ann-Margret posing in a yellow polka-dot blouse tucked into a pair of high-waisted yellow shorts, an outfit she would end up wearing in one of the scenes in the film.

Last year, Ann-Margret reunited with her State Fair co-star when she and Boone, 91, both attended a special event honoring veterans in Omaha, Nebr., and even gave a special performance for the crowd.

She reflected on the experience in an Instagram post after the event, calling it an "absolute honor and joy" to perform again with Boone, who she described as her "dear friend."
