Britt Lower has the support of her husband, Kenna Kennor, during award season.
The Severance star, who won her first Emmy in September 2025, was nominated at the 2026 Critics Choice Awards for Best Actress in a Drama Series, though the award ultimately went to Rhea Seehorn for her role in Pluribus. At the event, Lower was supported by her husband, British hairstylist Kenna Kennor, whom she has been married to since 2024.
Lower, who is also nominated for Best Performance by a Female Actor in a Television Series Drama at the 2026 Golden Globe Awards on Jan. 11, met Kennor years prior when he worked on her hair for an award show. Today, they live in Brooklyn, N.Y., with Kennor’s two children and their pet dogs.
The actress tends to keep her personal life private, including her relationship with Kennor. Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter in August 2025, the actress explained at the time, “In the spirit of Severance, I do like to keep my private life separate.”
She shared a rare insight into their relationship during a December 2025 interview with PEOPLE when she discussed an “annual Christmas pageant” hosted at their home. She called Christmas her “favorite time of the year,” which is supported by Kennor, with the couple choosing to decorate their home for the season in November.

Kennor has been working as a hairstylist since he was a teenager, when he began cutting hair at 18, according to his bio.
His portfolio includes a variety of work, ranging from advertising to editorial.
Kennor’s work has been featured on the cover of several magazines globally, including Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue and Elle, among others.
They met when he did her hair for an award show

Lower and Kennor first crossed paths through work. The Hollywood Reporter reported in August 2025 that the couple were first introduced when Kennor did Lower’s hair for the Emmy Awards.
While it’s unclear when the couple began dating, they were photographed together in January 2023 at the Golden Globe Awards in Los Angeles.
Years into their relationship, Kennor has continued to professionally style Lower’s hair.
In 2025, he worked on his wife’s hair for her January 2025 feature in The New York Times as well as for the Lanvin show at Paris Fashion Week that same month.

While the actress didn’t publicly share news or details about her wedding, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed in August 2025 that Lower and Kennor had quietly gotten married the year prior in 2024.
He has two children from a previous relationship
Lower and Kennor haven’t welcomed any children together, but Kennor has two kids from a previous relationship.
While not much is known about Kennor’s children, Lower’s bio on her website shares that she lives in Brooklyn with Kennor and her two stepchildren.
The family also have two rescue dogs, Bow-Tie and Vinny, whom they adopted in 2025, per Lower’s Instagram.
He owns a salon in New York City

Kennor is the founder of Kennaland, an “anti-salon” based in the Greenpoint neighborhood of Brooklyn in New York City.
After working in the hair industry for 14 years, Kennor founded his first studio, Kennaland London, in 2004, per Greenpointers.
Less than a decade later, he set up a second studio in Brooklyn in 2012 with the intention of using it as a home base for his production work.
However, in 2014, the space was transformed into a salon, and what is now Kennaland.

Lower earned her first Emmy at the 77th Emmy Awards in September 2025 for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series.
During her acceptance speech, Lower thanked her cast and crew before giving a shout-out to her family, including Kennor.
"Thank you to my mom and my dad, my brother, my husband, our kids, our co-parents, our chosen family,” she said during her speech. “I love you so much. Thank you for this, and thank you for choosing me."

Kennor has supported Lower at several industry events during their relationship, including at the Apple TV Emmy Awards Celebration in September 2025, following his wife’s win.
Most recently, they attended the 2026 Critics Choice Awards in January 2026 together.
The couple were photographed on the red carpet, with Lower donning a white Bottega Veneta ensemble for the occasion, which included a feathery open-backed top and a pair of cream pants.
Kennor donned a mauve suit jacket with a white button-up shirt, black pants and a neutral hat.
