*The Masked Singer* is getting extra (sparkly) star power this week.
An exclusive clip from this week's "*Twilight* Night" episode, below, reveals special guest star singer-songwriter Christina Perri taking the stage to perform her hit, "A Thousand Years."
In the clip, the 2011 ballad, which was written by Perri and her producer David Hodges for *The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1*, is accompanied by a dance representing the love triangle between vampire Edward Cullen, human Bella Swan, and werewolf Jacob Black.
Per the episode's official synopsis "*Twilight* Night" rings in Valentine's Day by "celebrating the most romantic saga of all time."
Other theme nights this season include “Ozzfest,” honoring legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne, who died in July at 76; "Red, White & Clue Night"; "Fear Night"; and episodes inspired by the upcoming 60th anniversary of *Star Trek;* the ‘90s classic teen comedy *Clueless;* the beloved animated heroes of *Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles; *and* *a Spice Girls celebration night. And for all the families watching, the joyful, colorful world of Care Bears is coming to the stage later this season as well.**

Perri previously talked about the genesis of "A Thousand Years" during an appearance on SiriusXM's *The Nikki & Brie Show* in March 2025, in which she discussed how she initially crafted it for Edward (Robert Pattinson) and Bella's (Kristen Stewart) wedding scene in the movie before it was instead placed at the end credits.
"This is just such a special story for me," said Perri. "I really was a *Twilight *fan. I was more of a Twihard. I was like hardcore* Twilight *fan . . . [Production said], 'We need a song for the wedding scene,' and I was like, 'Okay, great.' And then the song got chosen, but not for the wedding. They were like, 'We're actually gonna put it in the credits.' And I was like, 'Cool, this is still the coolest thing that's ever happened to me ever because it's my favorite books, my favorite movies.'"

Recalling how the song was given radio play to promote the film, "I was like, 'Wow, that's really cool,'" said Perri. "And then all of a sudden, the fans just loved it the most. And then because of that, the filmmakers were like, 'Let's put a seven-minute version of ‘A Thousand Years’ in the last film.' So I did this orchestral version of it and then a duet at the time with my boyfriend. And it was like this new version, and I thought maybe that was it."
But, of course, that wasn't the end of the song's reach. "All of a sudden this song is not so much about *Twilight *anymore," Perri explained. "It's this song that everybody's walking down the aisle to, everybody's doing their first dance to. . . So this song just keeps living its own life and evolving. For the next 10 years, everybody gets married to it and everybody starts having babies."
Watch Perri's full performance on *The Masked Singer* in the video clip, above. *The Masked Singer* airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on Fox.**
