- Vin Diesel believes that Groot might be Disney's "most valuable asset."

- The actor has voiced the fan-favorite character since 2014's *Guardians of the Galaxy*.

- Diesel is also teasing that the last *Fast & Furious* film will "hit hard."

Move over Mickey Mouse, the Avengers, and *Star Wars*.

Dozens of the most powerful and beloved figures are returning in the highly anticipated *Avengers: Doomsday*, but Vin Diesel thinks it's possible that none of these characters in the Disney family compare in stature to his talking tree.

No one does Instagram quite like Diesel, with his soliloquy-like posts, and his latest is further evidence of this. In his post on Tuesday, he manages to touch on the trio of J.R.R. Tolkien, Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots, and *Fast & Furious*. But the biggest highlight was his declaration about Groot, the adorable member of the Guardians of the Galaxy who Diesel has voiced for over a decade.

"Some say Groot is Disney's most valuable asset," he casually said.

Like he often does, Diesel lists the many projects of his in development, which includes a new Riddick sequel, the Rock 'Em Sock 'Em movie that he's writing for Mattel, his long-rumored take on the crime series *Kojak*, and a Groot-focused film called *The Arbor King*. Diesel previously pulled the "some say" move with the Groot origin story, sharing that "some say [it] is Marvel’s most anticipated movie."

"I have been deep in development and writing on so many of the characters I have grown a bond with," he wrote last year. "Just recently, I read to my family, The Arbor King… the long awaited story of Groot’s return to Planet X… There’s movies the world wants, my incredible fans want and of course the ones the kids want. We are Groot!"

While there's nothing official from Marvel about development of *The Arbor King* or Groot's role in *Doomsday *(in the meantime, enjoy Diesel's Groot-inspired fashion), Diesel does have a release date for the 11th and final *Fast & Furious* installment. First launched in 2001, the series will conclude with 2028's *Fast Forever*, which has faced delays and writer changes.

In Tuesday's Instagram post, Diesel also compared himself to the iconic author behind *The Lord of the Rings*.

"People think Tolkien just poured Middle-earth onto the page. Nope," he wrote. "He started with no idea where it was going, wrote it around his Oxford day job, put it down for YEARS at a time, pushed through a world war and paper shortages. Seventeen years for that whole saga. Ours has taken ten more than that, and we’re still in it."

He continued, "FAST. Wow. A year and nine months out, this one’s gonna hit hard… the fans who’ve stood by it deserve a proper finale. Almost three decades of fighting for every frame. Best fans in the world... every minute worth it. Whatever you’re building that’s taking longer than you anticipated… slow is fine, stalled is fine. Just don’t quit on it. Finish what you started."

Thankfully, *Fast* will be forever, as Diesel recently announced that four shows set in the universe are in the works at Peacock.
