Vin Diesel has remained extremely close with his late friend and Fast and Furious costar Paul Walker's daughter, Meadow Walker, since the actor died in 2013. The 58-year-old shared a touching message for the model and actress on her 27th birthday on Nov. 4, 2025, and fans are melting.
"Happy Birthday, Meadow," he wrote about his goddaughter on her big day. "So incredibly proud of the human you are… your light shines in ways you can’t imagine and makes the world a better place. We love you." Meadow responded with a simple red heart emoji.
Along with the message, Diesel shared a photo of the pair together at the Colosseum in Rome in May 2023, where they walked the red carpet for the premiere of Fast X, the tenth film in the saga Meadow's father helped make a blockbuster.
Fans were moved by the sweet post and took to the comments ot hsare their love. "She has her father’s smile!" said one commenter, while another wrote, "Vin is a true friend and is keeping Paul’s legacy alive and not forgotten." A third added, "She may have lost her dad, but she never lost a father figure."

Diesel opened up about their emotional bond in 2021, telling Extra that "she's the first person on Father's Day to wish me Happy Father's Day. I feel very protective. It goes beyond the movie."
A dad himself to daughter Hania, 17, son Vincent, 15, and daughter Pauline, 10, he revealed Meadow has a sweet relationship with them, too. "To see her with my children is one of the most beautiful things," he said. "There are moments when I see her playing with Pauline, and it hits me so deep 'cause I can only imagine what my brother sees when he sees that." Diesel even walked Meadow down the aisle when she got married in 2021.

Walker welcomed Meadow with Rebecca Soteros in 1998, three years before the first installment of The Fast and the Furious was released, and she grew up spending time on set. "My daughter thinks I'm a mechanic," Walker told ET in 2003. "I had to take her on set with me, and she said, 'Daddy, what are you doing?' I said, 'I'm just fixing the car.'"
Meadow honored her dad by making a cameo in the series' 10th film. "Thanks to my dad, I was born into the Fast family," she said on Instagram at the time. "I can't believe now I get to be up there too, with those who have been around to see me grow up."
