- Tom Hardy allegedly kept his *MobLand* castmates waiting "for hours."

- The* Venom* star has reportedly been fired from the Paramount+ series.

- *MobLand* concluded filming season 2 and is awaiting an official renewal for season 3.

New details are emerging about what led to Tom Hardy's reported firing from the television series *MobLand*.

Production has already been completed on season 2 of the Paramount+ crime drama, but, according to Puck, the Oscar-nominated actor won't appear in a possible third season. While some have suggested that Hardy's fate is still to be decided, *The Hollywood Reporter* is revealing some of Hardy's alleged behavior on set.

“He refused to come out of his trailer for hours at a time,” a source told the outlet. “He kept the cast waiting, [which is] a power play. Keeping Pierce Brosnan, Helen Mirren, and others waiting is career suicide, I would wager.”

The news comes five months after the *Daily Mail* said that Mirren was growing increasingly frustrated with Hardy.

Puck previously reported that Hardy was often late to set, attempted to change the show's dialogue, clashed with producers, and wasn't happy that *MobLand* was becoming more of an ensemble show.

Produced by Guy Ritchie, *MobLand* stars Hardy as Harry Da Souza, the loyal fixer for the Harrigan crime family, led by powerful patriarch Conrad (Brosnan) and his conniving wife, Maeve (Mirren). The cast also includes Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Janet McTeer, and Toby Jones.

Hardy's apparent firing hasn't sat well with the *MobLand* mob. Fans have passionately defended Hardy on social media, and even declared that the series might as well end if Hardy isn't involved, considering how his simmering performance was the standout element of season 1.

The premiere date for season 2 is not yet known, but *THR* reports that season 3 will begin production in September, if the series gets renewed.
