Timothée Chalamet is debuting a shocking physical transformation in Dune: Part 3.
In a trailer for the upcoming film released on October 27, the actor went nearly bald while showing off asymmetrical eyebrows.
Chalamet’s co-star Robert Pattinson also looked like a different person with an icy blonde new look.
Timothée Chalamet is closing out his Dune chapter with his most shocking physical transformation to date. As the actor prepares to kick off the third and final film of the trilogy, he teased a dramatic, nearly bald new look paired with asymmetrical brows in a trailer for Dune: Part 3 released on October 27.
Chalamet kicked off the trailer with the closely-shorn buzz cut that he first teased last summer while filming the movie. However, he kicked the physical transformation up a notch at the 2’20 mark, illustrating his character Paul Atreides’s physically and mentally grueling journey.
In a scene with co-star Zendaya, Chalamet could be seen with what appears to be visible blue veins on his cheekbones, nose, and temples, large black pupils, and a silvery shaved hairstyle. His left eyebrow also appeared to be completely missing, while his right was still intact with some shaved stripes through the tail.

The Marty Supreme actor isn’t the only Dune star to undergo a dramatic physical about-face, as his co-star Robert Pattinson also looked like a completely different person with white-bleached eyebrows and matching curled hair in the clip.

Chalamet first hid his freshly buzzed curls, due to the request of director Denis Villeneuve, last year. Despite the star covering his head with bandanas and hats, fans—including one A-lister—began speculating that the Call Me By Your Name actor had chopped off his signature tresses after he was spotted with girlfriend Kylie Jenner in St. Tropez in July 2025.

According to Chalamet, he got a text from none other than Leonardo DiCaprio asking him if he’d shaved his head. “He fried me today. He said, ‘I heard you shaved your head. Say it ain’t so,’” he admitted in a Lucid Motors ad last December.
While Chalamet is back to his long curls in real life, he joked at the time that he struggled with having his hair “stolen” and practically “begged” Villeneuve not to chop it off. “You know, your hair, weirdly we’re all attached [to our hair]. It’s kind of like our personalities, these follicles that grow out of our heads,” he admitted during a December 12 appearance on The Graham Norton Show.
