Simone Biles is sharing a health update with her fans.
On Thursday, July 23, the Olympic gymnast uploaded a photo of herself wearing scrubs in what appears to be a medical office alongside her husband, Jonathan Owens, who accompanied Biles, 29, to her “procedure” on his 31st birthday on Wednesday, July 22.
“His birthday but he takes me to get my procedure 🥹🥹🥹🤍🤍🤍,” Biles, 29, wrote in an Instagram Story over a black-and-white picture of herself smiling next to her NFL husband, whom she wed in April 2023. “I woke up singing bossman dlow ‘talk my s--t’ 🤣🤣🤣🤣,” she added.

Biles didn’t share any other information regarding her procedure. Details on what she was having done and why remain unclear.
On June 6, the Olympic gold medalist shared a picture of her arm wrapped in patient wristbands from the hospital while explaining that she has been “in bed resting this week” after experiencing one of the worst health scares of her life.
“I’m not one to normally share things like this because I value privacy in today’s age,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories at the time. “But almost dying wasn’t on my bingo card earlier this week.”

“This was one of, if not the scariest experience of my life. Especially since Jonathan [Owens] was in Indy for practices,” she continued.

Owens signed a one-year deal with the Indianapolis Colts in March 2026. At the time, Biles said she was “excited to call Indy home” during the upcoming football season.
“I’ve been in bed resting this week, I’ll explain sooner or later but s/o to my close circle who reached out, checked in, visited & or sent flowers,” Biles continued on her Instagram Stories. “Loooovveeee y’all.”

One week after sharing the news of her health scare on her Instagram, Biles responded to a fan, who called her out on social media for posting day-in-the-life vacation content instead of sharing what happened to her medically.
“Never got the update on near death experience 😕,” one fan wrote in the comment section of Biles’ post from a Belize vacation.
