Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas‘ love was clearly written in the stars.

Not only are the two some of the most talented actors in Hollywood, but the pair also shares a birthday, which is a rarity in itself. Douglas was born Sept. 25, 1944, in New Brunswick, New Jersey, while Zeta-Jones was born on the same day in 1969, in Wales.

Despite their age difference, the couple have been married for almost three decades and are still going strong.

Douglas and Zeta-Jones welcomed their first child together, son Dylan, in 2000, before adding to their family with the arrival of daughter Carys in 2002. Douglas is also dad to son Cameron, whom he welcomed with ex-wife Diandra Luker.

The Beginning

Michael and Catherine first met at the Deauville Film Festival in 1998. The pair would get engaged in 1999 before welcoming their son Dylan in Aug. 2000. Three months later, the lovebirds tied the knot at New York’s Plaza Hotel, with Cameron serving as the best man.
