Turkey beat Team USA 3-2, but Team USA will advance to the next round, in which they will play Bosnia and Herzegovina on July 1 in Santa Clarita, Calif

A star-studded crowd was present for Team USA's match against the Turkish national team in the 2026 World Cup on Thursday, June 25, at Los Angeles Stadium.

In a gripping final few minutes, Turkey beat Team USA 3 - 2. Baris Alper Yilmaz scored Turkey's second goal 31 minutes into the match, and 18 minutes later, Team USA's Sebastian Berhalter tied the match at 2-2.

Turkey's Kaan Ayhan eventually scored the winning goal seven minutes into stoppage time. Although the U.S. men lost the game, they already secured a spot in the next round. They will play Bosnia and Herzegovina on July 1 in Santa Clarita, Calif.

Despite the loss, there was a star-studded turnout as celebrities enjoyed the World Cup in Los Angeles.

Brad Pitt wore a Team USA jersey paired with white pants and a matching white bucket hat for the big game. He was seated next to Fight Club co-star Edward Norton as the pair chatted over beers to watch the big game.

Paris Hilton attended the game alongside husband Carter Reum and the couple's two kids, Phoenix, 3, and London, 2. The family of four all wore matching Adidas looks with a coordinating red-white-and-blue star pattern for Team USA. Hilton, 45, wore her Adidas jersey minidress paired with white sunglasses and thigh-high suede wedge boots.
