The Kremlin issued a disturbing appeal on Sunday for Donald Trump to authorize the killing of Volodymyr Zelensky.
Dmitry Medvedev, a close ally of Putin, addressed the president in a public statement, in which he wrote: "American history itself offers a solution. All he has to do is summon the secretary of war and the CIA director and tell them to take care of this 'unfortunate little problem.'"
He added: "After all, the man does far more damage to Trump's real interests than all the fallout from Trump's imaginary grievances against Venezuela, Cuba, and Iran combined," reports Daily Express UK.

According to Medvedev, he doesn't the how, where, or by what means, which he deemed "irrelevant."

His disturbing assassination appeal emerged as Russians separately claimed Ukraine deployed lethal British-supplied Storm Shadow missiles along with drones to strike a significant Putin defense facility in Yelets, Liptsek region, a critical producer of batteries and accumulators for Putin's missile systems, aviation, and other military hardware.
Dense black smoke billowed from the facility following strikes by three or four missiles.
Medvedev attempted to turn Zelensky into an adversary in Trump's view, alleging he harbors a "major grudge" against the US president "and is being downright disrespectful to him at every turn."

The menacing tirade and call for a CIA assassination team could signal the Kremlin's struggles in its conflict with Ukraine. Medvedev posted on pro-Kremlin social media Max: "So why, exactly, should the occupant of the Oval Office have any reason to like the twitchy little bloodsucker?"
He claimed Zelensky "pestered Trump like a fat green fly, rudely demanding money and weapons to keep the war against Russia going" and "manipulated" Western leaders "working day in and day out to turn them against Trump and his team."

The Russian officer further alleged Zelensky "repeatedly told Trump and his aides to get lost whenever they floated proposals for negotiating an end to the conflict" and "through his reckless behavior, brought the United States and NATO to the brink of a global nuclear confrontation with Russia."
Medvedev added that "in short, the Kiev scumbag regularly spits straight in the face of the US president, ignoring his demands and turning influential Americans [and not-so-influential Europeans] against him.
"To this festering green parasite, the president of the United States is a nobody.
"Which doesn't stop him and his entire Nazi gang from repeatedly fleecing the Americans for enormous sums of money.
"So much for 'he may be a son of a bitch, but he's our son of a bitch.'"
The deadly strike, allegedly carried out using Storm Shadow missiles, targeted the Energia defense plant, a facility that manufactures chemical-based power sources for numerous Russian weapons systems, including Iskander-M ballistic missiles. Early reports indicated one fatality, with a timely evacuation believed to have prevented a higher death toll.
This marks the second consecutive day that Russia has alleged Ukraine used Storm Shadow missiles in attacks.
On Saturday, numerous reports indicated they were used against the advanced Proton defense facility in Oryol, which manufactures components for Russian weaponry including the Iskander-M, Pantsir-S1 and S-71 Kover missiles.
Russia reported four fatalities, though other accounts suggested a higher death toll.
Both facilities in Yelets and Oryol have been sanctioned by Britain and other Western nations.
In additional strikes today, long-range Ukrainian drone attacks targeted key military-related sites.
