Priscilla Presley was all smiles in Germany as she made a rare public appearance with son Navarone Garibaldi Garcia by her side.
The actress, 81, and her son, 39, visited the town of Baesweiler on Tuesday, Oct. 20 so that Presley could reportedly sign its golden book — a guest book containing signatures of notable visiting guests — and take part in a Q&A about her life with ex-husband Elvis Presley.
“I look forward to a wonderful evening with all of you, so with warm regards, thank you,” Presley told the crowd. “And I also want to introduce my son.”
Navarone then took the microphone and said he was “just happy to be traveling with my mom.”
“Thank you for the welcome as well,” he said as his mom looked at him with a smile. “Everyone’s been so kind to both of us.”

The Dallas actress shares Navarone with her former partner Marco Garibaldi, from whom she split in 2006 after more than 20 years together. She and Elvis also shared daughter Lisa Marie, who died in 2023 at age 54.
Presley previously opened up to PEOPLE in a 2025 cover story about helping Navarone through his struggles with addiction. She revealed that her son came to her two weeks after the suicide death of Lisa Marie’s son Benjamin Keough and asked for help getting off fentanyl.
“I would be in bed with him, and he’d say, ‘My legs hurt, my legs hurt,’” Priscilla told PEOPLE. “I’d get up and massage his legs. Now I know what it’s like with someone who goes through withdrawal. It’s horrible. A lot of people can’t get through it and go right back to it. It was hard.”

The star said Navarone spent 22 days in withdrawal, then finally turned a corner. But months later, his recovery stalled when he relapsed on heroin.
“Finally one day he came to me and said, ‘Mom, I want to get off drugs. I don’t want to do this anymore. I don’t want to hurt you anymore. Will you help me?’” Priscilla says. “I said, ‘I will absolutely help you.’ So, he stayed at my home and I slept with him every night, and he had withdrawals every night. I don’t wish that on anyone because there’s really nothing you can do. You can’t give them more drugs, that’s for sure. They have to go through it.”
Presley said Navarone has been to rehab three or four times and is now doing well.

“He’s been sober ever since, so I’m really happy for him,” she says. “He’s in a good place. We made it… It took a long time, but Navarone was ready. I got lucky.”
Navarone made headlines over the summer when he launched a GoFundMe raising money to start an organic pizza business he hoped to run from his driveway in Los Angeles.
The musician sought $5,500 to cover the cost of an industrial pizza oven, which sparked some criticism from those who asked why he didn’t go to Presley for financial help.
“Haters gonna hate… and I’m sure I’ll have to explain this many more times to ignorant people who think I should ‘ask my mom’ or that I have money,” he responded on Instagram. “YEAH, I also have a lot of bills, I also have a budget.”
He later told TMZ that his mom “loves the idea” of the pizza company, but he “can’t ask for money for every whimsical idea” he has or they “both would be broke.”
