The mother of Princess Beatrice's stepson appears to be saying an early goodbye to Ladies of London: The New Reign.
American architect Dara Huang — who shares a son with Beatrice's husband, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi — entered the Bravo show's cast alongside Myka Meier, an etiquette coach. Although Meier described a very close friendship and defended Huang amid rumors that she was a madam in the first episodes, Huang was more dismissive of their relationship, describing their dynamic as being not "that close" in the premiere.
At a dinner party with the wider cast, Missè Beqiri called Huang out for speaking negatively about Meier behind her back, allegedly calling her "cringe" and "tacky." Huang denied making the comments, saying, "Myka's my sister" — however, a hot mic caught Huang admitting to the remarks.
"I don't think I'm made for this, babe," Huang said off-camera. "I'm not made for this. This is not me. Like, I love Myka, but she doesn't have my experience of being thrown under a bus. I did say those things."
Huang seemed to quit the show during the dinner, saying, "I think I need to probably step out of, I think, being on this TV show. I'm really sorry to disappoint everybody, but I just — I don't think this is for me, you know? This is not for me."
Then an intertitle flashed onscreen with the words, "Dara decided to leave the friend group."
Meier said on the show, "I have cried more times about Dara than I've ever cried about anything in my life. I feel like I lost a family member, I lost a friend, I lost trust. My friendship with Dara is not ever going to be what it was," as photos of them together were shown.
Meier appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, where the host asked her how it felt to see Huang's comments about their friendship aired on Ladies of London.
"Heartbreaking. Gutting," she replied. "I'm such a loyal friend, and to see that — I cried when I watched it. I cried."

Later in the interview, Meier said, "To my face, she was like, 'You look amazing!' Then I would hear somebody say, 'She said you look cringe.' And I was like, 'What?' It was like there were two people, and I only knew one of them."
Meier also told Decider what she thought the royal family would make of Huang's appearance on Ladies of London: The New Reign.
“I don’t think it probably went over very well," the Beaumont Etiquette founder said, adding that Beatrice and the family likely "had many conversations, and [Huang] still chose to do what she did. And I think now we see the result."
Meier, who is a godmother to Huang's son with Mapelli Mozzi, also told Decider that she and Huang "no longer speak."
"But I have to say, I am grateful that I don’t have toxicity in my life,” she said. “This is something that I think is really important, and I think that friendships go through phases. I’m a big believer of only keeping really positive, wonderful people in your life. And now I can say I have that. And so that’s where I am."

Huang previously opened up about coparenting her son — 9-year-old Christopher Woolf, who is known as Wolfie — with Princess Beatrice in a 2024 interview with Harper's Bazaar U.K.
"Wolfie has had two sets of parents trying to help him on both sides, and I just think, 'The more, the merrier,' " she said. "I feel lucky to have such positive people around him, who really embrace him — because it didn’t have to be so easy."
"It's all about your point of view," she added. "I don't understand people who are divorced and then hold their children as collateral; that doesn't make any sense. It’s about creating a happy home and lifestyle."
