Prince William just handed another major blow to his brother Prince Harry - and proved why it would never have worked out for him and Meghan Markle in Hollywood.

The Prince of Wales will be joined in Mumbai, India, by a whole host of A-listers for the awards night of his environmental campaign, The Earthshot Prize.

Stars including Rami Malek, Simone Ashley, Sonam Kapoor, and Robert Irwin will head to India for a prize-giving ceremony with 5,000 guests in the audience.

Meghan and Harry just got slapped with a truth bomb - this blunder may end their UK dream

They will also be joined by Indian singer Shreya Ghoshal, who will perform as part of the night, for an event that is set to stream on Prime Video.

Taking place on November 17, the ceremony will see Prince William in attendance for the campaign he founded back in 2020.

This must come as a blow to Harry, who spent the better part of six years trying to make it in the US, before apparently conceding defeat and returning to the UK with his wife and kids in tow.

Failed Netflix projects, a Spotify deal that seemingly went nowhere, and rejection by Hollywood icons including Martha Stewart... it must rankle to see his older brother rubbing shoulders with celebrities while remaining an active member of the Royal Family. William didn't spark a feud with his dad King Charles, nor draw the ire of the press for abandoning his country but continuing to demand taxpayer-funded security.

And for Meghan, who for so long was herself an actress, it must sting not to be a part of this. Imagine the cameras ready at the event, waiting for her to steal the spotlight!

Let's be fair to Harry - he has the equally important Invictus Games to worry about. But Meghan seems to be at a loss. I'm sure she's feeling rather unmoored back in the UK; though Meghan still has her role in Archewell Productions and is busy bringing up her kids, she hasn't managed to return to acting despite rumours she will be starring in season three of The Gentlemen. Its cast, however, seem to disagree she has even been involved in talks.

William, on the contrary, is a busy man. He's balancing his royal duties with the Earthshot Prize, while Harry just has Invictus to focus on, with no impending royal tours or visits in the diary.

But the difference is, William is managing to balance the joys of the Hollywood industry with real work - something Harry proved he couldn't do when he was still living in America. It must sting.
