Prince Harry attended the 2026 WellChild Awards in London on September 21.
The annual ceremony recognizes the “inspirational qualities” of seriously ill children in the United Kingdom.
Harry greeted one of the event’s honorees by sharing some fun facts about his daughter, Princess Lilibet.
Prince Harry’s two kids were on his mind during his latest public engagement. On September 21, the Duke of Sussex attended the WellChild Awards in London, where he greeted honorees including 6-year-old Margot Jones-Billington.
Taking notice of her pink dress and sparkly shoes, Harry said: “You obviously love sparkles. I have a boy and a girl who are seven and five. My little girl loves sparkles and she loves pink. That’s her favorite color.”

Harry, who shares Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet with wife Meghan Markle, was named WellChild’s patron in 2007. The organization’s annual award ceremony honors the “inspirational qualities” of seriously ill children in the United Kingdom.
Harry and his family recently relocated to to the U.K. after six years of living in the United States. A close friend of Meghan’s recently shared a glimpse of their new life in England in an intimate Instagram carousel.

Kelly McKee Zajfen documented her visit to the U.K., sharing a snapshot of Meghan holding her son Jack. Harry also appeared with the 5-month-old in another adorable image, which depicted the prince lying on the floor with Jack. In an additional slide, Lilibet greeted the little one as McKee Zajfen flashed a huge grin.
The Alliance of Moms co-founder made multiple references to Meghan in her caption. “Having the best time,” she began. “There’s something so special about getting a taste of this magical place with my bestie...I’ve loved seeing this sweet chapter through her eyes and daily adventures!”

“We’re leaving with full hearts and definitely leaving a piece of ours here. To everyone we’ve met or bumped into, thank you for being so loving to my friend,” McKee Zajfen continued. “It’s been beautiful to witness. She missed you too!”
