Paul Mescal and Gracie Abrams Make Red Carpet Debut at BAFTA Awards

Paul Mescal and Gracie Abrams attended the 2026 BAFTA Awards.

It was the first time they walked a red carpet together.

The couple has been linked since June 2024.

On Sunday, Paul Mescal and Gracie Abrams went red carpet official. The couple has attended public events before, but this was their biggest event yet. Though they tend to be fairly private about their relationship, they stopped to pose together for photographers, even sharing a kiss and embracing.

Abrams was wearing a dark brown sleeveless Chanel gown covered in a floral pattern and lined with sea-foam green lace along her neckline. Mescal wore a black suit with a collarless white button-down and a brooch.

A few days earlier, they attended a screening for Man on the Run in London, wearing matching casual looks with large jackets and baseball caps. The couple posed on the step and repeat with Paul McCartney.

Recently, Abrams has been more open about their relationship online, posting a tribute to Mescal on his birthday in early February. In a carousel of photos, she shared images from their life together: enjoying a photo booth, sleeping in bed, eating at restaurants, and hanging out with friends.

The previous month, she shared her thoughts on Mescal’s hit film, Hamnet, in which he stars with Jessie Buckley. After seeing a screening, she wrote in her Instagram Stories, “I’ve found it nearly impossible to find the words to describe the weight of this film and the way it has remained in my bones since I saw it for the first time, but we are sat in the kitchen right now, and I am looking back on these pictures and got immediately teary, so I’m just going to say that Chloé [Zhao, the film’s director] is singular. Jessie [Buckley, Mescal’s co-star] is singular. Paul is singular. Thank god for what they made. Go see it and you will be better off.”
