Paul Thomas Anderson's latest film "One Battle After Another" brought home four Golden Globes on Sunday, Jan. 11.
Anderson, who spent 20 years crafting the film, snagged up best director and best screenplay. The film won best comedy or musical, and Teyana Taylor walked away with her first Golden Globe for best supporting actress.
"You guys are being so generous with this affection for me and this film and I'll take it. I'll take it with the love that it's given and the appreciation," Anderson said after accepting the award for best director. "I love doing what I do, so this is just fun."
In an emotional acceptance speech, Taylor, who plays Perfidia Beverly Hills in the film, thanked God, her fellow cast and crew and her family.
"And last but most importantly, to my brown sisters and little brown girls watching tonight, our softness is not a liability. Our death is not too much. Our light does not need permission to shine," Taylor said amongst applause. "We belong in every room we walk into. Our voices matter and our dreams deserve space."

"One Battle After Another" is available to buy and rent on digital platforms, including Prime Video, Apple TV and Fandango at Home.
'One Battle After Another' release in 4K Blu-ray/DVD
"One Battle After Another" will be available in 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray and on DVD on Jan. 20.
Warner Bros. Pictures said the film will also be available in collectible steelbook packaging in 4K UHD from online and physical retailers in spring 2026. The special edition will include a bonus disc with features created by Anderson.
