Noel Gallagher reflected on the success of the 2025 Oasis reunion shows.
On Saturday, Feb. 28 while backstage at the BRIT Awards, where he took home the award for Songwriter of the Year, he claimed the band's gigs last year were "better than the '90s."
Noel, 58, said that the reunion shows with Liam Gallagher were "the most incredible thing that any of us have ever done."
"To come back after all these years, to get No. 1 albums and all that is pretty mad, but we loved every minute and every second of it," he said.

Noel noted that while all the "gigs were amazing," it was the ones in their hometown of Manchester that really stood out.
"I’m kind of lost for words for it, really," he said. "The gigs spoke for themselves.”
Noel then called every show a “10 out of 10," adding that they were “truly astonishing.”
He noted that it was “overwhelming in places to see the love for the band after all these years.”

Noel then admitted that the Oasis reunion shows were “better than the ’90s” and “as good as it gets.”
He also then shared an update about the upcoming Oasis documentary, which is being created and produced by Peaky Blinders writer Steven Knight and directed by Dylan Southern and Will Lovelace, who were behind LCD Soundsystem’s 2012 concert film Shut Up and Play the Hits.
“I’ve only seen a tiny little bit of it and it’s difficult to have an opinion on it because I’m only looking at little snippets,” Noel said.
He added, "Everyone who has seen it, or seen more of it than I have, has said that it’s amazing. If it even captures 5% of what that tour was, it’ll be astonishing. Looking forward to it.”
Oasis announced their reunion tour in a statement in August 2024.
The Oasis Live '25 Tour kicked off in July 2025 in Cardiff, Wales before the band headed to North America for shows in Toronto, East Rutherford, N.J., Los Angeles and Mexico City before returning to Europe in September.
They also played in South Korea, Japan, Australia and South America.
