Nikki Glaser Reveals She Almost Stole An Artifact During Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s Wedding

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s star-studded wedding has produced another unforgettable story.

Comedian and actress Nikki Glaser attended the couple’s lavish wedding in July at Madison Square Garden, where guests were asked to surrender their phones to keep the ceremony completely private. While Glaser said she walked away without a single photo from the night, she admitted she almost left with something much more unusual.

During a performance at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas on Saturday, Glaser revealed she came within seconds of stealing part of the wedding cake before an unexpected voice stopped her in her tracks.

“I was actually inside, and I have nothing to show for it,” Glaser said. “Because I had to turn in my phone. I had to turn off my phone, which I had never done before.”

Wanting a keepsake from what she described as a once-in-a-lifetime event, the comedian joked that she started looking around for “one cool artifact” to remember the wedding by.

That opportunity seemed to arrive when she wandered over to the wedding cake.

“I look up at the cake,” Glaser said. “And on the top tier, where the two little cake toppers are, it’s just Travis. Taylor’s missing. And I’m like, ‘Someone already took Taylor, I’m taking Travis.’ Like, this is the perfect thing to get.”

She admitted she was “two seconds from putting it in my purse” before hearing someone nearby stop her.

“Then I hear Tom Cruise be like, ‘Put me down!’ And I’m like, ‘Oh my God!’”

Glaser delivered the story as a joke during her comedy set, making it clear she never actually took the cake topper home.

Wedding Guests Received Luxury Gifts

Glaser said guests were given several custom wedding gifts.

According to reports, attendees received luxury gift boxes featuring diamond-encrusted keepsakes, embroidered commemorative handkerchiefs and black velvet boxes with Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s “TT” initials.

She also shared an unusual observation about the celebrity guest list, saying it was rare to see famous people attending an event without their usual team members.

“It was interesting because some of these celebrities were alone, and these people are never alone,” Glaser said. “There’s always someone with these people.”

She specifically mentioned Jennifer Lopez, describing her as “kind of like a wallflower” during the celebration.

The comedian’s story surfaced just days after Kelce himself opened up about the wedding for the first time on the season premiere of New Heights.

The Kansas City Chiefs tight end called the ceremony “a night we’ll never forget” and thanked everyone who attended. Kelce also explained that he and Swift chose Madison Square Garden because they wanted “a very intimate and genuine setting without a lot of distractions,” adding that the no-phone policy helped create the private atmosphere they envisioned.

Kelce’s only regret about the celebration was he wished the magical evening “could’ve lasted even longer” before guests eventually headed home once the drinks stopped being served.
