Nicole Kidman just went full Carrie Bradshaw for her latest outing. The actress appeared at the 2026 LACMA Art+Film Gala on November 7 in Los Angeles, where she wore a dramatic, voluminous balletcore look, courtesy of Chanel. She also served up a brand new hair style for the occasion.

The 59-year-old actress wore a rare updo, sweeping her blonde hair into a messy high ponytail with wispy face-framing pieces and a dramatic sweeping side bang.

As for her look, she opted for a Chanel dress from Matthieu Blazy’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection. The gown featured a fitted textured beige bodice with long sleeves and distressed edges. Below the drop waist, a giant white tutu ballooned out in luscious layers. The skirt was cut in a high-low silhouette, shorter at the front and longer at the back, showing off her open-toed black heels.

Kidman’s red carpet outing comes after she made a quick trip to Sydney, Australia, to see Chanel’s first runway show in the country. She wore a three-piece Chanel suit with a black longline blazer and trousers, along with a white vest. Her daughter, Faith, joined her at the event. Fellow Chanel ambassador Margot Robbie was also present wearing a sheer white dress.
Kidman also recently posed in a daring bedazzled Chanel bikini for the cover of Vogue Australia. And, of course, earlier in the year, she dazzled in a deep red sequined and feathered Chanel gown at the Met Gala.
