Rosanna Arquette tells PEOPLE about her daughter Zoë Bleu following in her family's acting footsteps
The proud mom says, "They're all working hard. They are more talented than any of us"

The Arquette siblings — Rosanna, Richmond, Patricia and David — are all well-known actors, as was their late sister Alexis, who died in 2016. Their parents? Also actors: Dad Lewis Arquette played J.D. Pickett in The Waltons, and mom Mardi Arquette was an actress-turned-therapist.
So it's no surprise that the newest generation of Arquettes are also getting into the family business.
"This is our business," Rosanna, 66, recently told PEOPLE of her actress daughter Zoë Bleu, 31, now starring in Luc Besson's Dracula.
"Zoë is a pure artist," she says proudly of her daughter, whom she shares with her ex-husband, music executive John Sidel.

"She's a poet, a musician, a fashionista. She makes her own clothes. She's truly an individual, and she lives life full-force," says Rosanna.
She adds that anyone thinking she's a "nepo-baby" is wrong. "Nothing has been handed to her. She works her ass off. I think she's magnificent," Rosanna adds.

Zoë recently walked the red carpet with her mom and Aunt Patricia at the premiere of Dracula in Los Angeles, and Rosanna recalls tagging along with her daughter at the Cannes Film Festival last May, where Dracula was also screening.
"I just held back and watched and let her have her moment, because it was really all about her," she says of the occasion. "I was like any other proud mom in an audience, like, 'That's my baby!' "
However, Zoë isn't the only next-generation Arquette leaning into her theatrical roots.
"Harlow Jane is Patricia and Thomas Jane's daughter, and she's a really good actress, and she’s going to be in Jennifer Garner’s upcoming show [The Five-Star Weekend]," Rosanna says.

"And Coco, David and Courteney Cox's daughter, is studying theater, and she has the most beautiful voice. She's probably going to end up on Broadway," she shares.
She adds, "Coco is so funny and sweet and kind. They're all working hard. They are more talented than any of us."

Rosanna, who says she's close with her entire family and especially her daughter, recalled a scary incident when Zoë was a toddler, and drank apple juice that was tainted with E. coli.
"She almost died when she was 2 years old," Rosanna says. "The doctors kept telling me it was the flu, but I knew it wasn't and insisted they do a blood test. The ambulance got her, and they realized she was in kidney failure and put her on dialysis. She would have been dead in 12 hours otherwise."
Zoë made a miraculous recovery, and Rosanna can now laugh about what her precocious daughter said upon waking up from the illness. "She woke and said, 'I want to watch Beauty and the Beast... not the cartoon. The Cocteau one."
Rosanna currently stars opposite Charli xcx in The Moment, in theaters now.
