Major League Baseball is officially in the postseason! Throughout the month of October, the best MLB teams will be putting it all out on the field in hopes of winning the World Series.

The New York Yankees are on a roll after sweeping the Boston Red Sox in the AL Wild Card Round, with Ben Rice even hitting a grand slam to help clinch the win. Rice’s girlfriend was in the stands at Yankee Stadium cheering on her first baseman. The 27-year-old and Sara Falkson have been together long before he moved to New York City. As the 2026 MLB playoffs continue, get to know Ben Rice’s girlfriend and their relationship history.

Who is Sara Falkson?

Falkson is the founder of Robyn Athletic. The company’s website says Robyn Athletic is “your trusted partner in building body confidence. From sports bras to workshops, we provide athletes with the tools, education, and gear they need to move freely and perform confidently.”

Prior to Robyn Athletic, Falkson spent five years working for IBM as a design engineer. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Dartmouth University, and she graduated from Harvard University in 2025 with a master’s degree in design engineering.

How did Ben Rice and Sara Falkson meet?

Rice and Falkson were both students at the Noble & Greenough School in Dedham, Massachusetts. They both attended and graduated from Dartmouth College, with Rice playing baseball and Falkson playing field hockey for the school.

According to Rice’s Instagram, he started dating Falkson in February 2019. “6 months with @sfalkson celebrated by watching a sport I don’t understand. Go Big Green though!” he captioned an Instagram post in August 2019.

The couple has consistently shared photos of each other over the years. They also attended the 2026 US Open together and starred in an ad for Lululemon’s MLB collection.

Rice recently opened up about his girlfriend at the Carlos and Ashley Rodón Willow Gala. “Her work ethic, her determination, all those things are so evident every day when I watch everything she does,” Rice told Us Weekly. “Working on her company and just getting through school, getting through grad school.”

He added, “The way she helps others on a constant basis. She’s just a very special person in my life. I learn from her a lot every day.”

Falkson acknowledged that she and Rice are “both nerds” to Yankees Magazine. “We’ve been picking up chess. I don’t want to say he’s winning, but he’s brilliant. And he beats me more often than I’d like to admit, unfortunately,” she said.

Are Ben Rice and Sara Falkson engaged?

Despite online speculation, Rice and Falkson haven’t made any announcements regarding an engagement. Given how public these two are about showing off their love, we’ll certainly hear about it if it happens!
