Lizzo, the multi-talented singer, rapper, and flutist, shot to international fame with hits like "Truth Hurts" and "About Damn Time," earning multiple Grammy Awards and cementing her status as a pop culture icon.

Lizzo has been making headlines for years—not just for her music, but for her bold fashion choices, impressive weight-loss journey, and her new lingerie line, Yitty. Known for her fearless sense of style, the singer often turns heads with new looks, especially when it comes to her ever-changing hairstyles. Fans are always watching to see what she’ll do next.

In a playful new Instagram video, Lizzo debuted a fresh shoulder-length style with her locks in curled twists, a stark contrast to her previously long, silken tresses. Wearing a sleek black bodysuit, Lizzo showed off her new hair while introducing a small furry friend to her followers.

With the brown curly-haired pup snuggled in a baby carrier, the star turns playfully to a lyric that totes, "big mama, no kids," from Summer Walker's song "Go Girl." As she turns toward the camera, she reveals her hidden 4-legged companion. In the caption, Lizzo teased, “Look what Santa dropped off. Should I keep her?”—leaving fans guessing about the newest addition to her life.

Reaction was immediate, albeit mixed.

Fans instantly began flooding the comments with heart emojis, congratulatory messages, and guesses about the little dog’s name and breed. Many stars, including Paris Hilton and SZA, also shared their excitement and welcomed Lizzo's new fur baby.

However, some followers criticized the star, speculating that she purchased a puppy rather than adopting from a shelter. Others questioned the star's busy lifestyle and offered training advice.

Lizzo is no stranger to pet ownership, and this new companion may be especially meaningful for the singer and her fans. Two years ago, in 2023, the star lost her dog, Pooka, at 18 years old on Christmas Eve. She publicly shared the heartbreak of that loss and told fans, "I am not ok," after her beloved fur baby passed. And while nothing eases the heartache of losing a beloved pet, it appears that the star is possibly ready to welcome a new 4-legged family member into her home.
