Lisa Kudrow has opened up about her journey with Botox after her latest treatment led to an eye irritation and bizarre forehead pattern. She confessed to her conflicted experience after undergoing the cosmetic procedure.
Despite quitting Botox, the Friends star shared her genuine fear about aging and how she’ll look as she ages, saying that she would look like a grandmother. She also opened up about the nose job she had as a teenager and why she chose cosmetic surgery at such a young age.

During an exclusive interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Lisa Kudrow opened up about Botox, revealing that she first tried it when she was 60. Now 62, she said trying the injection was both her first and last time, as she opened up about the drastic side effects.
She said that the beauty injection has largely contributed to her “eye irritation” and the “weird pattern” on her forehead. With such severe side effects, she says, “I’m probably done with it now anyway.” The 62-year-old continued that it still surprises her that people still recognize her in public.
Kudrow said that though she quit Botox, she has a genuine fear of aging visibly, specifically about her looks. The Mad About You actress said, “I am scared of having to see myself looking like my grandmother one day, but I’m excited to play older roles.”
Interestingly, the veteran actress also underwent a nose job when she was a teenager. During an interview with The Saturday Evening Post (via People), she shared that she underwent the cosmetic procedure before going to a new school.

The star stated, “I went from, in my mind, hideous, to not hideous.” She reasoned that the surgery was important to her because in her new high school, there were a lot of new people and they would not “know how hideous I looked before.”

Appearing as a guest on the Armchair Expert podcast, Lisa Kudrow shared her candid views on the celebrities who take Botox or other beauty enhancement injections or procedures to look fresh and young. She clarified that she has not undergone any surgeries.
“I haven’t done anything, guys. That’s cool. It’s not pride, because I don’t judge anyone for doing it. I get it, and a lot of people look fantastic,” the Emmy-nominated actress said, “but I also am afraid that if it doesn’t heal right, it’s scary,” explaining that it will make her look “older and altered.”
