A king can drink from his chalice whenever he pleases, but LeBron James apparently doesn't even need his own. In the city of Brotherly Love, royalty can crash into your seat, sample your wine, and still get a warm welcome from fans decked out in team gear.

James turned a third-quarter fan collision into a quick wine-tasting session during the Philadelphia 76ers' 126-107 win over the Chicago Bulls on Monday.

After James spilled the drink he once credited for his NBA longevity on longtime season-ticket holder Troy Clemons, the NBA superstar took a sip while chasing a pass, then went back into the play, catching Clemons by surprise and drawing a warm cheer from nearby spectators.

The moment happened at Xfinity Mobile Arena when James chased a Tyrese Maxey hit-ahead pass toward the baseline.

His momentum carried him straight into the front row, where the longtime Sixers season-ticket holder suddenly found the NBA's all-time leading scorer patting him on the shoulder.

The moment led Clemons to involuntarily share his drink with the most famous player alive. James acknowledged the accident afterward and even blessed the press with a review of the no-name product.

"I spilled some of his wine. I crashed into him, spilled some of his wine," he told ESPN. "So I wanted to see if it was worth it on my arm and how good it was. It was all right."

Clemons had no complaints about the uninvited tasting and told reporters that James grabbed him, apologized, and reached for the cup before sprinting back into the game.

"He said my bad. My drink spilled everywhere," Clemons explained. "He basically just took a sip of it and gave it back and ran back to the court."

The fan made it clear the wine stain was a small price to pay to see James suit up for Philadelphia. Souvenir hunters were also upset to learn that Clemons disposed of the plastic cup and got a fresh beverage, as James was "just another man" like himself.

Several unique LeBron James items and memorabilia listed on eBay command high third-party bids and selling prices.

James is widely recognized for his love of wine and cookies and leaned into a courtside-drink bit during Cleveland's 2017 playoff matchup with Toronto after pretending to sip from a fan's beer.
