Hoda Kotb is celebrating Christmas surrounded by family.

On Dec. 25, the former Today host, 61, shared a festive selfie on Instagram with her daughters Hope, 6, and Haley, 8, along with her mom, sister and ex-fiancé Joel Schiffman. The group posed in matching green Christmas pajamas and Santa hats.

“Merry Christmas🎄❤️,” she captioned the post.

Earlier this month, Kotb also offered a glimpse into her suburban New York home and her family's festivities leading up to Christmas.

In a Dec. 8 Instagram post, she shared photos of herself decorating the Christmas tree with daughters Hope and Haley.

The post included a series of snaps documenting the fun-filled decorating process. In the first slide, Hope carefully places candy canes on the evergreen, which is mostly bare aside from white string lights.

Another photo shows Kotb holding an ornament as she considers where to place it on the tree. Red and gold baubles and homemade decorations are scattered throughout, including an ornament that reads “Swiftie,” a nod to her love of Taylor Swift.

"It’s all happening!! 🎄❤️" she wrote on the post.

In November, Kotb also spoke exclusively with PEOPLE at the QVC Holiday House event in New York City, where she reflected on how life has taken on a slower, more intentional pace since stepping away from her co-anchor role on Today.

"It's been super fun. I mean to kind of have control of your own schedule, which is real weird. I didn't actually know how I would do," she told PEOPLE. "But something happened where like everything's in slow motion now."

"When I sit with my kids, it's slow, everything's kind of slowed down. I used to be like, ‘Shoes off. OK, come on, we're late.’ All I said was, ‘We're late, eat that, go to bed,' " she added. "Like those were my phrases, and now it's like we're sitting, we're breathing together — like we're just having moments. I love the rhythm."
