The tribute also served as a call to action for suicide prevention awareness and education. Snyder asked followers to consider donating ahead of a walk honoring Autumn this Saturday. He noted that contributions help fund life-saving research and suicide prevention education programs. The donations also support families dealing with the unimaginable grief of losing a loved one.
Snyder further wrote that Autumn “will always be loved and always be a part of everything I do.” The post received overwhelming support from fans and fellow creators within hours of going live. It garnered over 88,000 likes and 1,500 comments in just four hours on the platform.
Autumn Snyder passed away in 2017 at the age of 20. Her death led Zack Snyder to step away from directing Justice League during post-production. The filmmaker has since become an advocate for suicide prevention and mental health awareness. He regularly honors Autumn’s memory through public tributes and charitable efforts.
