Gypsy Rose Blanchard reportedly told her ex-fiancé Ken Urker that he was "trying to control her like her mother," according to claims made by his sister.

Autumn Urker came forward following her brother's death on his 34th birthday last week.

In a harsh rebuke of Gypsy Rose, Autumn alleged that her brother's partner - with whom he shared their daughter Aurora - was more concerned with maintaining her public persona than addressing the anguish of his bereaved family.

"We are disgusted with her statements," Autumn said. "She hasn't even called my mother or any of us yet."

Autumn further claimed that during their last phone conversation, Ken revealed he was "terrified" that Gypsy Rose wouldn't keep their daughter "safe," and that she "humiliated him."

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Autumn alleged that Gypsy Rose was "not this sweet person," while describing her brother as a "great man" who "tried so hard" for her. She claimed of Gypsy Rose, "It was her way or she was screaming at him because he was trying to control her like her mother. Gypsy is not this sweet person."

By contrast, she said of Ken, "My brother was a good father. A good brother. A good son and a good friend. And we were all lucky and blessed to have known him."

The former couple's romance started in 2017 while Gypsy Rose was incarcerated for her role in the 2015 killing of her abusive mother, Claudine 'Dee Dee' Blanchard.

Ken proposed to Gypsy-Rose during a prison visit in October 2018, though the engagement was called off shortly thereafter.

She subsequently married Ryan Anderson while still incarcerated.

Following her parole release in December 2023, Gypsy-Rose split from Ryan and soon after reunited with Ken. In December 2024, they had their daughter.

Ken was discovered deceased at his Raceland, Louisiana, residence by Gypsy Rose's brother Dylan and his wife, who had arrived for dinner with him. On Thursday evening, Ken's sister Autumn confirmed his passing during a TikTok livestream and disclosed that his final words to her were, "I love you."

Lafourche Parish Sheriff's Office told TMZ on Thursday, "We responded to a residence in Raceland today after receiving a call at 6.15pm. Kenan Urker, 34, was found dead upon arrival. At this time, we are continuing the death investigation."

Authorities subsequently revealed that Ken was discovered deceased with syringes, a spoon, a handgun and a "brown powdery substance" in the vicinity.

In a statement to People following the announcement of Ken's death, Gypsy Rose indicated he overdosed. "I don't know if it was intentional or not," she said.

"He was not in a good state of mind lately."

She added, "I'm in disbelief. I can't think. I've screamed until my throat burns."

In her public statement, the 35-year-old characterized Ken as "an amazing father and a man who was deeply loved."

She expressed, "He will forever be my soulmate and my red string, a connection that time, distance, and even death can never erase."

According to her account, Ken had faced an "unimaginable level of public scrutiny" alongside "relentless cyberbullying" across social media platforms, with the "cruelty directed toward him was something no human being should have to endure."

While she indicated this attention and digital harassment had a "profound impact" on him, she offered no further details.

She pledged to ensure their daughter "grows up knowing how deeply her father loved her and who he was beyond what strangers on the internet chose to say about him."

The Express US has contacted representatives for Gypsy Rose Blanchard seeking response to Autumn's statements.
