Noma, the renowned three Michelin-starred restaurant in Copenhagen, Denmark, has announced more details about its Los Angeles residency, including when and how you can make reservations.
Last year, Noma announced its plans to come to Los Angeles, a move poised to enrich the city’s already acclaimed food scene with its approach to dining (although considering Noma and chef René Redzepi’s prestige, they’ve likely already been impacting diners in the region). Noma has been named among the World’s 50 Best Restaurants, and Redzepi is described as being “widely viewed” to be “the founder of New Nordic cuisine,” according to the Michelin Guide. Naturally, reservations at Noma are hard to come by.
The restaurant said it’ll spend 16 weeks in Los Angeles “cooking, listening, learning, and building a body of work rooted in this place.” Its residency will be documented as “part of a special film project,” and there will be a Noma Projects shop in Silver Lake.
Here’s what to know.
When is Noma coming to LA?
Noma’s Los Angeles residency is from March 11 to June 26, according to the restaurant.

While the six-month Covid-19 closure has been tough for Noma, consistently ranked as one of the world's top restaurants, it's also been an opportunity to reinvent its cuisine. Noma has long been known for its use of seasonal ingredients. There have been images of citrus, seafood, and what appears to be fungi and seaweed in recent posts on Instagram from Noma and Redzepi about the Los Angeles residency, although whether or not that’ll actually be part of the menu is not immediately clear.
“In LA, our cooking will be shaped by what exists here — the Pacific, the mountains, the desert, and the long distances between them,” Noma said in its newsletter. “We’ll spend time getting to know ingredients, producers, and traditions, and let that guide what ends up on the plate, filtered through our imagination and the know-how we bring with us from Denmark.”
Redzepi previously described Los Angeles and the region’s offerings back in July 2025, giving insights into the chef’s perceptions ahead of Noma’s L.A. residency:
“The vast Pacific. The farmers’ markets overflowing with produce in the middle of January. A place where you can have tacos for breakfast and a Thai tasting menu in an alleyway for dinner. Oaxacan mole from a strip mall. A great-grandmother’s kimchi soup served at 2 a.m. in Koreatown.”

How much is it to eat at Noma LA?
Noma said that bookings will be offered as a package, including a menu, beverage pairing, hospitality and tax. That’ll cost $1,500, according to the restaurant. Prepayment of the full amount is required to complete a booking, Noma noted.
