The NFL resumes its international series in Week 10 with a game from Olympic Stadium in Berlin, Germany, featuring the Atlanta Falcons and Indianapolis Colts in just their 19th all-time matchup. The Colts lead the series 15-3, and after acquiring former All-Pro CB Sauce Gardner at the trade deadline, should be riding high entering this game.

Atlanta (3-5) needs a win to snap its three-game losing streak and begin to climb their way back into the NFC South race. The Falcons came up short last week against New England last Sunday, falling 24-23 despite a three-touchdown performance from quarterback Michael Penix Jr. Wide receiver Drake London also had a huge day with nine receptions for 118 yards and three touchdowns.

Indianapolis comes into Week 10 wanting to get the bad taste of their second loss of the season out of their mouths. But after trading for one of the best cornerbacks in football, in Sauce Gardner, the Colts should be up to the task in Berlin. Gardner should be able to help a defense that, through 10 games, is giving up the seventh most pass yards on average (244.8) each week. Despite giving up almost 245 passing yards per game, Indy's defense is seventh in points allowed at just 20.1 per game.

Sun, November 9, 2025 at 9:15 PM GMT+8Kate MagdziukColts make splash move for star CB Sauce Gardner at NFL trade deadline

Not every NFL trade deadline is filled with fireworks, but this year’s sure was — thanks to the New York Jets and their willingness to part with a couple of star defenders.

The Indianapolis Colts were in on the action, trading two first-round picks and former second-round wide receiver Adonai Mitchell in exchange for star cornerback Sauce Gardner. With the move, Gardner went from a 1-7 franchise in the midst of a lost season to the 7-2 Colts — a potential Super Bowl contender.

Gardner, a two-time All-Pro, will be a significant add to the secondary, which has allowed the fifth-most passing yards in the league this season. Though he’s allowed a career-high 102.5 passer rating in coverage per PFF, joining the likes of Kenny Moore II and Jaylon Jones in the secondary could he the boost he needs.

The Indianapolis Colts will have Sauce Gardner in Week 10. The team announced their inactives ahead of its game against the Atlanta Falcons in Germany on Sunday, and Gardner is active for the contest.

That was expected after Gardner passed concussion protocol earlier in the week.

There aren't many big surprises on the Colts' inactive list heading into the contest. Indianapolis will look to carry over its early momentum — the team is 7-2 — to yet another win
