With a reported 1,000 guests in attendance, it might be easier to figure out who *wasn’t* at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding.

The couple tied the knot at New York’s Madison Square Garden on July 3 in front of friends, loved ones, and CEOs, with the guest list including some surprising names (Brad Pitt, Karlie Kloss, and Tom Cruise) as well as some not-so-surprising ones (Lena Dunham, the Haim sisters, and Ed Sheeran).

While it seems Swift fulfilled her mission to invite “everyone [she’d] ever talked to,” there were still some notable absences. Though a few invitees were simply unable to attend because of scheduling conflicts, others weren’t thrilled to be left off the massive guest list. Here’s every celebrity who has publicly addressed missing Swift and Kelce’s wedding.

Retired NFL player Will Compton has been friends with Kelce for years and is a regular fixture at the annual Tight End University summit the Chiefs star co-founded. During an appearance on the *Wake Up Barstool* podcast, Compton explained how he felt about not receiving an invitation.

“I’m gonna be honest, I didn’t think nothing of it,” said Compton, adding that he wasn’t upset until he saw photos of the people who *were* invited. “All these photos I keep seeing— I saw [Fox Sports analyst] Dean Blandino got an invite. Is that real?”

He continued, “As I’ve been seeing these photos of everybody else at the wedding, I’m kinda flabbergasted why we didn’t get the invite.” Compton went on to point out that “all of Tight End U” seemed to be there except for him.

Compton wasn’t the only former NFL player and Tight End University regular who didn’t receive an invitation. As Taylor Lewan explained on *Bussin’ With the Boys*, the former Tennessee Titan was also absent from the wedding festivities.

Lewan prefaced his remarks by saying, “I try to have a stance, like don’t make it about yourself.” But, like Compton, he had some questions once he saw photos of the guests who made the cut.

“When I saw [San Francisco 49ers tight end] George Kittle and [his wife] Claire, I was like, ‘Oh, awesome. Tight End U and friends. You should absolutely be there.’ ... But then I saw George Kittle’s mom and mother-in-law,” he said.

One of his cohosts pointed out that Kelce and Kittle are close. “They’re close, but, like, yo, we’re boys. I’ve known you for over 10 years. We text and call each other,” Lewan said. “I’m gonna take the high road. Okay. But I’m just thinking, dude, I’m clearly doing something wrong in our friendship.”

The legendary singer-songwriter (and Swift’s namesake) *was* invited to the wedding, but he had a good reason for missing it. Taylor was performing with his All-Star Band in Lenox, Mass., during their annual Independence Day weekend concert — a tradition he’s maintained for five years and running.

“You know, Kim and I were invited to a wedding at Madison Square Garden tonight,” Taylor said to the audience, referring to his wife, Caroline “Kim” Smedvig. “I do want to wish the couple all happiness and smooth sailing and strength when it can’t be smooth,” he added.

On the July 6 episode of *On Air With Ryan Seacrest*, the host revealed that he had been invited to the Swift and Kelce wedding. “Travis and Taylor got married, and I had to keep a secret from you,” Seacrest told cohosts Tanya Rad and Sisanie Villaclara. “I had to keep a secret. It was a confidential invitation to everybody that was invited. And so when you were doing your reports about the wedding, I was just on the inside screaming, on the outside very composed.”

Unfortunately, the *Wheel of Fortune* host had a professional obligation. “I RSVP’d to go, and then Disney hired me to do the Fourth of July 250 special on the 3rd and the 4th, and so I had to cancel,” Seacrest explained. “I was actually really excited. I was kind of torn. I went through the minutes, I couldn’t have done both.”

Singer-songwriter Suki Waterhouse was among those in attendance at Swift and Kelce’s wedding, but her famous fiancé had to skip the ceremony. Pattinson was in London attending the premiere of Christopher Nolan’s *The Odyssey* and filming *The Batman: Part II*, so he missed out on all the festivities — including the chance to win extravagant prizes, like a Cartier watch or a 1970s Chevrolet Chevelle.

“They were giving away lots of stuff?” Pattinson playfully exclaimed to *Entertainment Tonight* reporter Kevin Frazier. “What’d I get?!” Surely *the* Batman can afford a nice Cartier watch or two.

It’s kind of wild to have a big wedding and *not *invite Luke Skywalker, no? To be fair, it doesn’t seem like Hamill was expecting to be included. “Congratulations to the newlyweds!” the actor posted to Instagram. “I declined to attend the wedding for a variety of personal reasons, but mainly because I wasn’t invited.” What a rascal.
