The sun has set on Chrishell Stause's time on *Selling Sunset.*

After fronting all nine seasons of the Netflix real estate-centric reality show since its 2019 debut, Stause announced Friday that she's exiting the program.

In a new interview with *Bustle*, the 44-year-old opened up about the toll the show has taken on her — one she feels she's not in a position to put up with anymore.

“I’ve gotten to a place where I don’t need the show financially,” she told *Bustle* in a new cover story. “I’m lucky to have other forms of employment, because it’s no longer good for my mental health.”

She told the publication that she's "vacillated back and forth with this decision in the past," but recently finally made the difficult choice to officially walk away.

“I have to be honest — having come from nothing, it’s really hard to turn something like this down," Stause elaborated, before saying that* Selling Sunset *creator Adam DiVello has attempted to contact her "100 times a day" regarding her choice.

Still, even “Jesus Christ himself” could not persuade her to return for the 10th season, she told the outlet. Netflix has not yet renewed the show.

Amid voicing concerns about other castmates — including what she felt is problematic behavior on and off camera — Stause said that she grew increasingly concerned about how she was seen on the program, particularly after conflicts with costar Emma Hernan.

“With Emma, I just look like an overbearing friend,” Stause said. “But there are so many things that would’ve completely vindicated me and my opinion, and they left all of it out.”

Still, “if they do continue, I wish them the best,” Stause added. “If they do do another one, by then, I may not watch it. I don’t know. But I have no ill will toward the show. The show has given me so many opportunities, and I don’t want to be bitter about it, even though I’m leaving not in the way that I would’ve loved."

A representative for Netflix had no comment when reached by **.
