The country singer is shaking off the rumors after perceptive fans noticed apparent tension with the comedian during *American Idol*’s recent Taylor Swift-themed show.

“Carrie cannot standddd Nikki lol,” dished one viewer in a live Reddit thread. Another on Facebook pointed out that the season 4 Idol winner had “a really cold vibe” toward Glaser, a self-professed Swiftie who was enchanted by the night’s performances.

But everyone needs to calm down, Underwood insisted in a new SiriusXM interview on *The Highway *country music channel.

“I’m very used to that,” Underwood told Cody Alan when discussing social media chatter that she was “a mean person” to Glaser. “I feel like if you have two ladies in the same room together, someone is going to try to make a big thing out of it… But no, there’s no beef. I have no beef.”

As for how the comedian did as an *Idol* judge, Underwood said Glaser proved she belonged on the panel with herself, Lionel Richie, and Luke Bryan.

“She was wonderful,” raved the eight-time Grammy winner. “I think she did such a great job ‘cause it’s not an easy thing to come sit behind that desk and try to think of constructive things to say.”

Glaser has some impressive vocal talent of her own.

In 2022, she competed on season 8 of *The Masked Singer* as “Snowstorm” and made it all the way to third place, behind *Glee*’s Amber Riley and pop trio Wilson Phillips.

Coincidentally, on Glaser’s final night on the show, she performed “Since U Been Gone” by original *Idol* winner Kelly Clarkson in a battle royale, as well as “Thinking of You” by Katy Perry, the former *Idol* judge whom Underwood replaced in season 23.
