Can’t Make This Up: Jon Ossoff Reportedly Spent Thousands on ‘Makeup Services’ From Hollywood Artist

Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-GA) is spending big bucks to get his makeup done — but the Fox & Friends Weekend crew isn’t too impressed with it.

The liberal lawmaker has dropped $2,887 this year on “makeup services,” according to the The Washington Free Beacon,  which cited campaign finance disclosures.

Ossoff has been getting the Hollywood treatment too. He’s been using makeup artist Stephanie Ponder, whose credits include work on The Notebook and two Hunger Games flicks, among other movies. He most recently paid her $900 for a session in June, campaign finance disclosures revealed.

Ossoff’s four-figure makeup expenditures stand out among federal candidates. The Georgia senator who is running for reelection against Republican Rep. Mike Collins (Ga.), has reported spending more on makeup than any other candidate this year, beating out the likes of far-left Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D., N.Y.) and Rashida Tlaib (D., Mich.). Ocasio-Cortez has spent $1,837.93 on “campaign event hair & makeup services” in 2026, while Tlaib has spent $320 on “hair and makeup services.”

But Fox & Friends Weekend on Saturday thought Ossoff — who has made headlines recently for clashing with Trump nominees like Jay Clayton — should look a bit better, considering his hefty investment and the star treatment he’s getting.

“I don’t see that they’re doing anything amazing to his face! I mean, I’ll do it for $900 a pop. I mean, did you see that? He looks pale!” Rachel Campos-Duffy said, drawing some laughs from her co-hosts. “He looks pale! if anything they should give him a little more color, right? Make him a little more tan.”

Charlie Hurt pointed out Ossoff is one of the top Dem contenders for the 2028 election, with prediction markets like Kalshi and Polymarket giving him the third-best odds to be the nominee. Still, stories about him dropping a lot of dough on makeup “probably don’t help him a whole lot,” Hurt said.

Ossoff’s office did not immediately respond to Mediaite’s request for comment.
