Brooke Shields and Rowan Henchy are about to take New York by storm.

The actress and her daughter make their *Next Gen NYC *debut in the trailer for the second season. Shields and Henchy are introduced by Gia Giudice, trying to explain who Shields is to another castmember unfamiliar with the actress' work. "Hannah Montana's mom," Giudice says in the trailer, referring to Shields' cameo on the Disney Channel series.

In March, Shields paid tribute to her role as Susan Stewart, reflecting on the 20th anniversary of the series. "20 years of #HannahMontana, say what?!? ✨💜," she captioned a clip of her role on the show on Instagram. "These really were some sweet memories playing Miley’s mom on the show... Who’s reliving the magic & watching the @disneyplus special?"

She also reflected on the experience in a separate clip, calling it "such a joy."**

Aside from being Hannah Montana's mom, Shields is known for her roles in *The Blue Lagoon*, *Endless Love*, *Pretty Baby *and the upcoming television series, *You're Killing Me*. In addition to Rowan, Shields is also mom to daughter Grier with husband Chris Henchy.

In another part of the trailer, Henchy can be seen carrying an urn which holds Shields' late mother's ashes. "I put my mother next to the two things she loves the most: me and booze," quipped Shields, alluding to the bar she keeps the urn on at her house.

Henchy, meanwhile, posted about the upcoming season on Instagram. "Post grad took bit of a turn. See you June 24👀 #nextgennyc @bravotv," she captioned a post featuirng some pictures and the trailer from the reality series.

Bravo shared the moment during NBCUniversal’s 2026 Upfront Presentation on Monday while announcing its upcoming programs. Bravo teased that season 2 of *Next Gen NYC *would be "anything but chill."

“The pace is faster, the hustle is louder, and for this New York City crew, life in the city that never sleeps is a full-on reality check. From first real apartments and lingering scandals to messy breakups, shifting friendships and new romances, everyone’s trying to build a life that feels authentic — but also aesthetic,” Bravo shared.

“Eager to carve out their own identities, they’re determined to make it on their own terms while also navigating the pressure to curate the right vibe, the right circles, and a feed that keeps up with the life they’re chasing," the network added. The first season of *Next Gen NYC *premiered on Bravo in June 2025 and the second season will follow suit. The season 2 premiere airs on Bravo on Wednesday, June 24 at 9 p.m. ET/PT and will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
