Comedian Bill Maher hinted at a doozy of a conspiracy theory regarding Jeffrey Epstein’s suicide note on the Friday, May 8, edition of Real Time.

ā€œApparently they found Jeffrey Epstein’s suicide note,ā€ he riffed. ā€œApparently, it was from the guy, his cellmate, who Epstein said tried to kill him. But he’s the guy who found the note. And it says, ā€˜They investigated me,’ and then in all caps it says ā€˜found nothing, three exclamation points!!!ā€™ā€

ā€œWho does that sound like?ā€ said Maher with a knowing look. ā€œI can’t quite place it. I’m not suspicious, but the note does end by saying ā€˜Thank you for your attention to this matter!ā€™ā€

Maher, 70, seemed to hint that the suicide note was forged by Donald Trump, whose Truth Social posts will also feature all-caps statements and multiple exclamation points.

The note does contain the phrase, ā€œThey investigated me for month — FOUND NOTHING!!!ā€, but Maher added the ā€œthank you for your attention to this matterā€ bit to emphasize his point.

The note was purportedly found by Epstein’s former cellmate, Nicholas Tartaglione, in a graphic novel shortly after Epstein’s suicide. The note had been sealed until last week, when the New York Times petitioned the judge in Tartaglione’s case to unseal the document. Tartaglione is convicted of killing four men and burying them on his property in upstate New York.

The New York Times noted that phrases in the note, such as ā€œbust out cryin'ā€ and ā€œNO FUN,ā€ were phrases Epstein liked to use in emails.

However, the New York Times did not verify that the suicide note was authentic. Furthermore, Epstein’s brother, Mark Epstein, voiced his doubt that the note was genuine.

ā€œIt wouldn’t be hard to get some pro forger to forge a note,ā€ he told Business Insider. ā€œThat’s the easiest f****** thing in the world to do.ā€

Mark believes the note was forged to prop up the official story that his brother committed suicide, while he suspects his brother was murdered. He voiced the possibility that a forger could have read Jeffrey’s emails and included some of his commonly used phrases to give it an air of authenticity.

ā€œIt’s in the emails. So they stole it from me to make it sound like it was him,ā€ he said.

Donald — whose name appears more than 38,000 times in the Epstein files — has consistently tried to downplay his relationship to Jeffrey and the importance of the Epstein files. However, he was reluctant to release them and worked to stop the passing of the Epstein Files Transparency Act last November.
