She previously shared that she wanted to get the procedure done after having a baby, and there’s “nothing to be ashamed of”
Despite backlash, Alli Dore has no regrets about her latest cosmetic work.
On Tuesday, July 28, the Below Deck Sailing Yacht alum, 38, posted before-and-after photos of her body transformation on Instagram after undergoing a “rib recontouring” procedure.
“Just under halfway at 5.5 weeks out of 12 and already convinced this is the best thing I’ve done,” she wrote, showing off her slimmed down waist.
According to Snatched Waist, the clinic where she had the procedure, “rib recontouring” doesn’t remove any ribs but uses liposuction to remove fat and reshape parts of the lower ribs in order to achieve a slimmer figure. Patients then wear a corset during their 12 weeks of recovery to “hold the lower ribs in their new position.”

In the comments section, Dore received mixed reviews about her new look. And the reality star quickly clapped back to those who criticized her decision.
“Why why why?? Looked better before,” one person wrote. Dore then insisted she “looks way better” in her after photo.
“It’s called body dysmorphia. You’ve got it. We all agree it doesn’t. 🤡,” another person commented, to which she replied, “ ‘We all’ 😂 the type of people who like to take down others on the internet by commenting and criticising the way they look are actually not the type of people whose opinions matter to me.”

She also responded to one follower who said her body doesn’t look “normal” or “healthy.”
“Guess who’s the only opinion that matters when it’s my body? Mine. Shocking I know 😂,” she said.
The mom of one later added that she’s “lucky I love and nurture myself” so that the negativity doesn’t get to her.
On June 26, Dore posted a video on Instagram before getting the rib recontouring procedure done during a trip to Bali. She said she wanted to achieve “the perfect body” after giving birth to her son back in 2021.
“I’m excited about today. I feel like you just do what makes you feel good. There’s nothing to be shameful about,” she said. “Having a baby, it just changes your body so much, and your whole life you make so many sacrifices as a mother. And to sacrifice my body as well, I’ve given up everything.”
“I grew up in the Paris Hilton era. Like, everything was about being really skinny. And then Kim Kardashian came along and it became like, the hourglass look,” Dore explained. “Everyone’s gonna have opinions on it, but all that matters is how I feel. Don’t listen to the haters.”
The star noted that she feels confident about her decision, adding that she’s had other cosmetic procedures done in the past.
“I’ve done a couple things, it’s nothing to be ashamed of,” she said. “To be able to still have the leanness to my body, but the hourglass shape. That’s, to me, the perfect body.”
