A viral video posted in February 2025 sparked rumors that Ice Spice and Sauce Gardner were dating
The rapper and the Indianapolis Colts player have been spotted together at multiple events
Ice confirmed that they had previously dated in September 2025
Fans went crazy with speculation when Ice Spice and Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner were spotted hanging out multiple times. And this time, it looks like the rumors were true.
They were first linked in February 2025, when a TikTok video of a fan dancing to the "Deli" rapper's music in front of her on an escalator went viral. Eagle-eyed viewers noticed that the Indianapolis Colts' cornerback was standing beside her.
Ice, whose real name is Isis Gaston, and Gardner continued to fan the flame of a potential romance in the following months. They attended events together, posted and deleted photos of one another on Instagram and kept it all too coy when asked about their relationship in interviews.
"We cool," the NFL star told TMZ in June 2025 when asked about how things were going with Ice. "It's still the same, you know. I ain't trying to speak too much on it. We cool though. We just be having a good time, you know, like two young individuals."
Months later, Ice confirmed that they had dated during an interview on Keke Palmer's podcast, Baby, This Is Keke Palmer and said that they were "still friends."

Ice and Gardner were first linked in February 2025, thanks to a viral TikTok video. The clip featured a fan dancing to the rapper's 2022 collab with PinkPantheress, "Boy's a liar Pt. 2," in front of her and the football player on an escalator. Ice appeared to be unamused by the performance and turned around while her security team shut it down.
Gardner later told TMZ that they met in April 2024 during an interview for The Shop, which also featured LeBron James, Travis Scott, Chad Johnson, and Julio Rodriguez. When discussing Ice's rise to fame, the NFL star mentioned that he remembered seeing her on Instagram and said she was "snapping."
They attended Hollywood events together

Although they maintained a relatively low profile while together, Gardner and Ice have been photographed at a few events. In February 2025, they attended the premiere of Druski's "Coulda Been Love" YouTube series and went to the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscars Party together the following month, according to TMZ.
In May 2025, the rumored couple were photographed sitting next to each other at a Boston Celtics and New York Knicks game in New York City. Ice was also spotted attending a New York Jets game during the 2024-2025 season, while Gardner still played for the team.

Both Ice and Gardner have shared and then later deleted photos of each other on their social media accounts. In April 2025, he featured multiple photos with her in a since-deleted Instagram carousel, Vibe reported. The images showed the two standing next to a silver Rolls-Royce with a Statue of Liberty emoji as the caption.
Later that same month, the rapper included a cozy mirror selfie with the former Jets star in a since-deleted Instagram post with no caption.
Gardner said Ice was "real talented”

Though the football star hasn't revealed much about his relationship with Ice, he did give TMZ a little insight into their similarities.
"She from New York. I play in New York," Gardner told the outlet. "She's talented, real talented when it come to what she do. Same thing for me. Two people that get hated on that's really good at what we do. So you know we got a lot in common."

The "Barbie World" rapper addressed her rumored romance during a September 2025 appearance on Baby, This is Keke Palmer. When Palmer asked her if she had confirmed her relationship with Gardner in that April 2025 Instagram post, Ice said yes.
"Yeah, I did confirm that on my Instagram," she said. "I didn't think it would be such a big deal, but like, it really is a big deal ... it was fun. it was cute. We're still friends. We were just dating."
She went on to add that Gardner's career was attractive to her — as is he.
Ice elaborated that she is affectionate in relationships, and loves gifts and quality time, but mainly, she's focused on herself.
"I'm really focused on me," the rapper said. "I always put me first, that's what it's like dating me."
