Amanda Seyfried opened up about co-parenting with her estranged husband Thomas Sadoski in a new interview.
She and Sadoski, who’s also an actor, announced their separation last month.
They share two kids, daughter Nina and son Thomas.
Amanda Seyfried is keeping it real about co-parenting. The actress recently discussed how she balances her career with raising two kids alongside her estranged husband, Thomas Sadoski.
“Things that shoot in New York, in New Jersey—that’s very important,” she told WWD in an interview published on October 21. “If it’s shooting in Spain, we’re not going to do it, because right now, the kids are a specific age, and my ex-husband’s working, and I just want us all to be within the neighborhood of each other to keep things feeling safe and cozy.”

“It definitely, definitely filters a lot for sure,” Seyfried added.
She and Sadoski, who’s also an actor, were married for nine years before announcing their separation in September 2026. “We have been separated for a while, and it’s proven to be the right move for us and our family unit. We’ve got each other forever—and it’s GOOD,” they said in a joint statement shared with People.

Seyfried and Sadoski married in 2017 after meeting on the set of the off-Broadway play The Way We Get By.

“We eloped. We just took off into the country with an officiant and, just the two of us, and we did our thing,” Sadoski told People at the time. “It was beautiful. It was everything that it should be. It was just the two of us talking to each other.”
More recently, Seyfried said that Sadoski “sacrifices a lot” for her. Speaking to Vogue earlier this year, the actress explained: “He also knows that, in this moment, the opportunities I’m being afforded are insane,” adding that she says “no a lot.”
