Jeff Lewis is putting himself back in the spotlight on Still Flipping Out, the new version of his former Bravo show Flipping Out. The series, airing eight years after the Flipping Out finale, will follow Jeff in the current stage of his life.

A lot has changed for Jeff in both his professional and personal life since the last time he appeared on reality television. Throughout most of his time on Flipping Out, he was in a relationship with Gage Edward, but he is now dating someone new and is much more private about their relationship.

We’ll have to see how much Jeff shares about this man on the show, but scroll down for everything we know about him so far.

Who is Jeff Lewis’ boyfriend?

Jeff’s boyfriend is a man named Ty. They began dating at the end of 2024 and were in a long-distance relationship, with Ty living in Dallas and Jeff in Los Angeles. Ty moved to L.A. in the first half of 2026.

While very little is known about Ty because Jeff keeps their relationship so private, he previously revealed that his partner travels for work. Ty is also approximately three years younger than Jeff.

Does Jeff Lewis have kids?

Yes, Jeff has one child with his former longtime partner, Gage Edward. Their daughter, Monroe, was born via surrogate in 2016. Jeff is her biological father.

After their 2019 split (more on that below), Jeff and Gage were involved in a “contentious” custody battle for more than two years. The exes agreed to 50/50 joint physical and legal custody.

“Now it’s going to be two days over there, two days at my house,” Jeff shared on his radio show. “And then in order to get the 50/50 we had to do, like, every other Friday.

In an effort to take things slow with Ty, Jeff said he was not introducing his boyfriend and daughter. As of June 2026, they had still not met.

In 2025, Jeff revealed that Ty had three previous pregnancies, two of which ended in miscarriage, and one that ended in abortion, per the Sarah From Texas podcast.

What happened to Jeff Lewis and Gage Edwards?

Jeff and Gage dated for 10 years before their 2019 split. Jeff confirmed the breakup on a January 2019 episode of his radio show, explaining, “This has been a long time coming. We were in separate rooms a significant portion of last year, so it was kind of like a roommate situation.”

The reason they didn’t separate sooner, Jeff said, is because “neither one of us wanted to leave the baby” and “financially, it wasn’t the best time because I have our properties right now.”

Jeff said he was “90% responsible” for the breakup. “I emotionally abandoned him last year,” he admitted. “I was a complete prick. I turned on him. I pushed him away. All I can tell you, it was my worst year. I experienced great loss.”

The former couple also realized they were on different pages about marriage, with Jeff worried about the commitment and Gage finally admitting that he wanted to tie the knot. “I never knew that because that was never communicated to me, and apparently that was really important to him,” Jeff explained. “So there’s all these things that are coming up now, but it just feels too late.”

After their split, Jeff and Gage reached a shared custody agreement for their daughter, but Jeff eventually filed a proposal asking to have Monroe the majority of the time. Gage countersued and asked for equal time with the toddler. They finally reached their joint custody agreement in May 2021.

Who else has Jeff Lewis dated?

Following his split from Gage, Jeff was in an on/off relationship with Scott Anderson from 2019 to September 2020. In the fall of 2021, he met chef Stuart O’Keeffe, and they confirmed their relationship in March of the following year.

However, by that July, the two had broken up. “I felt like there really wasn’t a future there,” Jeff admitted. “We have very good chemistry, we have a lot of fun together, we’re very compatible. I love the guy, I adore the guy … but we’re just not on the same page when it comes to relationship and family.”
