Alison Hammond shared a rare insight into her “beautiful” relationship with her ex-partner and father of her son, Aidan.

During Friday’s This Morning (25 September), the presenter discussed recent statistics that reveal the average length of a marriage ending in divorce in England and Wales reached a record high of 13 years in 2025.

The Bake Off star said: “You can also have very unsuccessful uncouplings.

“I literally uncoupled with Aidan’s dad after two years of being with him, but he’s been in my life for the past 21 years and it’s been beautiful.

“He’s remarried, got three kids and I feel like it's one big beautiful family.”
