Jalen Brunson and his high school sweetheart, Ali, married in 2023 and became parents in July 2024, when they welcomed their daughter Jordyn
Ali says she doesn't bring her 19-month-old to every one of Jalen's NBA games
However, when the AMB Method founder does get to bring her daughter to Madison Square Garden, she says it's a particularly meaningful experience
Jalen Brunson is as much of an all-star dad and husband as he is an NBA All-Star player.
The New York Knicks team captain has shown his dedication to his wife, Ali, since they were teenagers. The high school sweethearts have seen each other through many phases of life, from Jalen's collegiate basketball success through his entry into the professional level, first with the Dallas Mavericks, then with the Knicks.
Meanwhile, Jalen has supported Ali as she continued her education with a doctorate in physical therapy. She later combined that degree with a certification as a pregnancy and postpartum corrective exercise specialist and launched the AMB Method, her group fitness program designed for moms and moms-to-be.

The couple tied the knot in 2023 and welcomed their daughter, Jordyn, in July 2024. Since becoming parents, both Ali and Jalen's priorities have shifted, though they still have time to prioritize their careers and personal lives.
But out of all of her favorite parts of being an NBA wife, Ali tells PEOPLE that bringing along her daughter Jordyn has been the most "surreal" and rewarding experience. On some days, it's as simple as watching the 19-month-old walk through Madison Square Garden, and their twin mother-daughter outfits, she says, are the "most ideal" uniforms for the games they attend together.

For the most part, Knicks games run on the later side, so the fitness program founder doesn't always have her daughter come along. But on the occasion that Jalen plays earlier in the afternoon, Jordyn comes to cheer on her dad and toddle around the area, where Ali says she's known and recognized by many of the people she passes.
"Everyone at MSG loves their job and loves the Knicks," the proud mom shares. "It's just been such a family experience."

While Jordyn can't attend every single game, Ali makes sure her daughter is there for all the particularly meaningful moments, like when Jalen was named captain of the New York team in 2024.
"He had a whole ceremony for it. I think I was one week postpartum, and we came with Jordyn for it," Ali recalls. "She was hiding in the back. She came out to celebrate for just a second, and then we went back home. I didn't want her to miss it."
